Parents who won’t engage with AIM due to connotations perceived by the language used in application forms & information.Children need more support, especially since the pandemic. I work every pm now(over ratio)to support my teachers. Previously was the time for the admin #burnout

Elaine Dunne Federation Early Childhood Providers Aim is just one example, I have heard of so many EY service providers AND their team having burnout due to layers of problems put on them that are impacting their services & affecting their mental health. Very sad to see predominantly females struggling in this way

The Federation of Early Childhood Providers Roberta Capitation hasn't moved with inflation. Graduate-lead (previously "Higher Cap") sessions are being shafted... collateral damage in the rollout of Core Funding.

It's time to raise the ecce capitation.. the burden of carrying consecutive goverments ecce "partnership' is a straw to many.

Upcoming protests (service closures) are gathering pace, with representation highest in Dublin, Cork, and Galway. @dcediy Roderic O’Gorman TD Micheál Martin potentially thousands of parents will be notified of the reasons why. #valueearlyyears

Time for all of us ECEC providers abandoned to step forward. Staying in the same place is not an option. Absolutely no evidence of the celebrated changes in many services. Things couldn't be worse! Elaine Dunne Federation Early Childhood Providers The Federation of Early Childhood Providers

We are closing effecting 44 families most of whom are fully supportive of us. We need the ECCE capitation raised to 75euro in order for our businesses to remain open in the future. We have people applying for 2 years time, parents want ecce only services Roderic O’Gorman TD

sharononeill Roderic O’Gorman TD The absolute dread and sheer frustration of preparing for Christmas holiday pay when there is no money. 2 staff out sick in last fortnight cost me €920 / paying them and relief staff. Thought I had a 5-10 year plan. But sadly it’s become a 5-10 month plan. 😢😢

Copying and pasting the same ignorant response to multiple providers does not help. It makes us feel like our troubles aren't worth your time, or that you think we're lying. We're not idiots. Roderic O’Gorman TD @dcediy

Micheál Martin why are you allowing this madness? The Minister knows full well that businesses are suffering but he insists this protest is "unwarranted". Hundreds of preschools are closing today for the good of their health then I assume? Maddening.

What an amazing young lady on the #latelateshow . "18,000 children left to wait to rot on waitlisting lists" Youngest person ever to address an Oireachtais committee. "Politicans are all action and no talk" HSE Ireland

What a wonderful girl! And what an amazing sister. Fighting to raise funds for services that children with autism should be getting off the state. It’s a sad state of affairs when we need 12 year olds to do the work of politicians.

Early Years Professional Ireland Announcement today regarding my wife’s small rural Montessori School. She’s inconsolable having to do this as it was always more of a vocation for her. Kidzcottage.ie

ECCE Preschool [email protected] Roderic O’Gorman TD It was atrocious in 2010 when it was introduced at €4.30 ph. It’s beyond a joke in 2022 that it has only risen 30c in 12 yrs. If the minister and the DCEDIY drag it out long enough with this review of ECCE there’ll be no change to Capitation this side of budget ‘24, if ever.
