As a society, our emphasis has to be on every child having access to & being involved in physical activity.

The grave humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and the desperate need to return some hope to this region is still an urgent priority.

It is my intention to bring to government a formal proposal on recognition of a Palestinian State when wider international discussions are complete.

We have worked together on a programme of investment in a wide range of public services, to aid people during a worldwide inflation crisis and to respond to what is by any measure a moment of great threat to the future of democracy in Europe.

Looking forward to today’s NSMC in Armagh - the first since 2021.

Much for our two Governments to discuss on North-South cooperation, and delivering for all our citizens.

We remember the 1 million people murdered during the genocide in Rwanda 30 years ago. Ireland joins in remembering the lives taken and in expressing solidarity with survivors. We recall today the imperative of collective efforts to prevent genocide and crimes against humanity.

We rounded off a week on the campaign trail out with Cllr. Fionn Fitzgerald in Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

Out and about in Kerry today. Started off the morning with in Dingle Town with Cllr. Breandán Fitzgerald and Cllr. Michael O'Shea in Milltown.

Both are excellent public representatives for the Dingle LEA and are seeking reelection in Local Elections on June 7th. #LE24

And for the final stop today, myself and Mayoral candidate Dee4Mayor joined Cllr Joe Pond in Limerick City East.

Joe has been a hardworking and committed Councillor for his local community and is seeking re election in #LE24 on June 7th.

Next stop on the campaign trail... Limerick City North with Local Election candidates Suzzie O'Deniyi and Cllr. Kieran O'Hanlon.

The vote for a Directly Elected Mayor of Limerick also takes place on June 7th and I'm delighted to be joined today by our candidate Dee4Mayor.

The Anti-Homosexuality Act in Uganda has had a serious impact on human rights & continues to pose a threat to LGBTI+ persons.

It is of deep concern that Uganda’s Constitutional Court has retained much of the Act. Ireland continues to defend human rights, including LGBTI+ rights.

This morning in the Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick City West, with #LE24 Candidates Esther Ahern and Cllr Fergus Kilcoyne.

Mayoral candidate Dee4Mayor was also with us, along with Cynthia Ní Mhurchú and Niall Collins.

Great engagement from the people of Limerick today.

Yesterday we were also out on the doors with #LE24 Candidates Cllr. Sean Ryan and Kay Cahill Skehan, both running in the Thurles LEA and both receiving a very warm response in their communities.

Great day out and about meeting people in Tipperary Town with #LE24 candidate Jacqui Finnan.

Jacqui would make an excellent Councillor for her local community in Cashel-Tipperary.

Appalled by the deaths of humanitarian workers in an Israeli strike, killed providing lifesaving aid to the people of Gaza.
Full accountability is needed.
This again underlines the need for an immediate ceasefire to protect civilians and allow full humanitarian access.
