Green💚🌻Molly Simon Jack IMHO problems in BBC News (UK) coverage of the North Sea/OEUK PR effort include:
* There's no expert voice in discussion, nor directly following an interview
* Presenters may not know IEA 2021 context etc, so don't challenge or inform audiences on need to stop O&G.

'How can we ask other nations not to expand the fossil fuel production if we start doing it ourselves?'

We don't want Steve Baker MP (Wycombe, Cons), serial denier to attend debate. He ignores evidence. It's a matter of pride for him to stop all environment protection/positive action. Wycombe residents, think carefully on who you vote for next election!

Ithaca Energy is a part owner of the biggest undeveloped oil fields in the UK, Rosebank & Cambo.

Like 80% of oil produced in the UK, the oil from these fields would likely be exported overseas.

This is about profit for Ithaca, not energy security.
