Yesterday 27 June the heat was fierce in Northern Africa:
49.3C at Raggane,Algeria only 0.3C from the Algerian record of June. Monthly record at El Golea with 47.5C.
47.8C at Beja and Mededine in Tunisia,0.9C from the Tunisian record of June. For Medenine it was a monthly record

Rome recorded 40.7C in downtown station Macao (tied highest temperature ever,also Vatican City reference station)
In its outskirts 43.3C at Tor Vergata. (Tbc)

(1) European Heat Wave: Temperatures rose as much as 32.4C today in Finland, not far from the national June record. Two monthly records were broken; Vihti Maasoja 31.4C and Jomala Jomalaby 29.3C (Aland Island).

Three stations in Norway beat their monthly records on 26 June:
Gartland 31.5C
Namsos AP 31.5C
Namsskogan 31.3C
Next few days records are at threat specially in Finland, but also in Baltic countries and Poland.

Bandar E Dayyer (port) 51.4C highest on record (but short serie)
Kahnuj (470m asl) 49.3C hottest June day on records
Tabas (700m) 47.0C
Next week even the Central Highlands will have record hot conditions.
