Agree with this evaluation. What the Conservatives are planning to do here is a fantasy for most RR parties in Europe. The end for this government can’t come quickly enough.

American police are brutal, violent, and out of control. Something we already knew, of course.

It is worth watching this CNN video from the moment Emory Econ Professor Caroline Fohlin came across the violent arrest of a protester on campus and asked the police, with shock, 'What are you doing?' That's all that prompted an officer to hurl her to the ground and handcuff her.

Labour's announcement on railways looks smart to me. Huge support among loyal Labour voters of course, but also high levels of support among those swapping to Lab from the Cons
