Passage of the Legacy Bill today directly subverts long-standing efforts for a positive peace in NI. Opposed by victims’ organizations, all parties in NI, and human rights advocates, this is a deeply troubling step. Young voices now more than ever are needed for a just peace.

Today, the House of Commons passed the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Bill, legislation opposed by all five political parties in Northern Ireland, the government of the Republic of Ireland, and many people across the United Kingdom.
