Good thread Helen, 1st came across Kevin via The Manics. Also got me thinking about Tim Hetherington and the excellent Sebastian Junger doc “Which Way Is the Front Line From Here?”

Caution advised when walking either along the top of Devil’s Dyke (esp from the July Course toward A14) & between The Ditches as there is way too much dog 💩.
It’s really not acceptable but people DGAF it seems.

Lovely walk around racecourse side yesterday. Plenty of Willow Warblers, Chiff Chaff & the Lesser Whitethroat in the same place again, also a lovely Yellowhammer, Sky Larks & a pair of Curlew amongst others.

This really is a very good film.

Wicken Fen between downpours. A mate picked me up for a little birding yesterday. Devils Dyke provided a new lifer in a Lesser Whitethroat & the hide near Cock-Up bridge gave us a wonderfully bright Yellow Wagtail, caught in the ☀️.
