A great day birding with some year and patch ticks in the bag. Caught up with a Sandwich Tern and Barwit at RSPB Fen Drayton reserve. Wheatear, Bearded Tit, Redpoll and finally a Crane at RSPB Ouse Fen. Almost fell over a Bittern at one point too! Cambs Bird Club
Wicken Fen between downpours. A mate picked me up for a little birding yesterday. Devils Dyke provided a new lifer in a Lesser Whitethroat & the hide near Cock-Up bridge gave us a wonderfully bright Yellow Wagtail, caught in the βοΈ.
Marvelous
