A much, much better day than yesterday Newmarket Gallops. The wind has dropped massively and it isn’t raining. A bit colder, 5 degrees, but that’s a small price to pay. And it’ll warm up: forecast high 14 #TarbatNess #Hiccups (@JTrnakova) #Surooj (Ivona Slachtova)
Very windy again this morning Newmarket Gallops. Intermittent light showers so far. Not very nice. Fortunately it’s a southerly wind so it’s not cold, currently 9 degrees #CloudyRose #Surooj #Hiccups
A new painting taking shape on the easel this week. This landscape, story & location tells it's own story.
It will be on show this May at my studio during Oxfordshire Artweeks with 𝙃𝙚𝙙𝙡𝙚𝙮 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙚 & Abi Panzeri. artweeks.org/v/abigail-panz…
We'll be open for the last two weekends of May.
A dry & bright Monday morning in Newmarket. 10 degrees. The pre-dawn red sky has not ushered in any rain yet, although we may have some heavy showers this evening #FlyingStar #MrsMaisel #Hiccups #TarbatNess
After riding in Australia for over six years, it was incredible to see Neil Farley notch his first black-type win aboard Gold Wolf 👏
Always a special moment when trainer brings up first Metro winner.. congrats Sutton Racing with Feroce (B.Egan) winning today 🎉
The eastern edge of Storm Kathleen is making it very windy this morning Newmarket Gallops but otherwise it’s very nice: bright & very warm. Currently 17 degrees, forecast high 20 #Duchess #HiddenPearl #Surooj
Neil Farley rode his first Australian stakes winner aboard Gold Wolf for Feek Racing in the listed Galilee Series Final (2400m) at Caulfield on Saturday.
Farley's previous big win came in the Scottish Sprint Cup (5f) at Musselburgh in June 2015 as a 1.5kg-claiming apprentice.
