Justin Trudeau Patty Hajdu Ogichidaa Francis Kavanaugh Today a young First Nations man died in Onigaming. 911 was called. The ambulance parked at the edge of our reserve + wouldn't come help. As his family provided chest compressions, the paramedics let this young man die. This is racism.

A 66-year-old quadriplegic man was living a full & happy life because of the home care he received. But due to staffing issues, his home care supports were cut...stripping away his dignity & autonomy. Now, he's pursuing Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). We have lost our way.

1-in-5 Ontarians could be without a family doctor by 2025. Canadians are already some of the highest users of the emergency department in the developed world & already has poor access to primary care. Hospital beds are important but this will not fix the mess in the community.

This can apply to other healthcare workers.

I’m going to say it: I like paying taxes in exchange for a properly managed health care and education system and other government services. I don’t want money back, I want ambulances to come on time.
