There is great phonemic learning taking place each day in our primary classrooms at Confed! Students are learning to segment, blend, isolate, rhyme, and substitute. These are all important foundational skills for reading and will help students to become proficient readers.

Students can't access good mathematical thinking if they do not hear lots of examples. Teacher-led think-alouds are critical in mathematics.
