Baird Sandpiper sleeping a lot, lifer #312 a tough one to find but eventually gave itself up to be picked out more easily this morning RSPB RSPB Frampton Marsh 🌍 BirdGuides RareBirdAlertUK #lifer
Stunning American yellow warbler at New Hythe GPs this morning in its favoured alders… very flighty chasing off all the local chiffchaffs. Firecrests made a good supporting cast too. RareBirdAlertUK BirdGuides #2024yearlist #Lifer
Finally managed to see the Richard’s Pipit in Newport Pagnell after my second attempt, very obliging in the morning frost and mist, my first lifer of 2025 #2025yearlist #lifer Bucks Bird Alert #buckbirds BirdGuides RareBirdAlertUK
The very spotty sandpiper showing incredibly well at grafham water today, also the odd arrival in the form of a smew on the lagoons sleeping in the sunshine Cambs Bird Club RSPB BirdGuides RareBirdAlertUK #2025yearlist

Won’t win any Oscars for this footage but was great to see the Collared Pratincole at Frampton after dipping it 2 days ago.. Good to bump into BigStarBirding on the way back to the car park too! RSPB Frampton Marsh 🌍 RareBirdAlertUK BirdGuides #Lifer316 #2025yearlist
Well Scotland didn’t disappoint, Minke whale, dolphins, porpoise, Otters, Red Deer (Loads), white tailed & Golden Eagles, Divers and plenty of seabirds. I even managed a butterfly tick in the form of Scotch Argus.. stopping via the cairngorms on the way home. Butterfly Conservation 🦋
Nice few hours with Ian Conn at Therfield Heath and Greens chasing butterfly’s up and down the banks.. At least 5 Clouded Yellows seen. Grayling and Admiral are from yesterday at RSPB Minsmere 🌍 after twitching the Zitting Cisticola… all pics taken from my phone Butterfly Conservation 🦋 #Lifers
