The average MP is claiming more than £40,000 in personal benefits, including for ridiculous things like new phones, electricity, heating and food. Which everyone has to purchase. Why don't we talk about this benefit fraud?

PIP exists because life costs more if you are disabled. Those costs won’t magically disappear because the government decides to squeeze eligibility - disabled people already face a disproportionately high risk of poverty. This plan will push even more disabled people into

Twice I asked the Labour First Minister to distance herself from sweeping cuts to welfare which will condemn the most vulnerable to yet more hardship. Twice she refused to do so. Wales deserves a First Minister that will stand up to Starmer and who believes in social justice.

🇬🇧 Do you agree that the UK should not be spending £11.6B on 'climate aid' to foreign countries, should not be pumping £8B+ on GB Energy, and Mad Ed Milliband & his ridiculous Net Zero policies need to be scrapped 🇬🇧

A shame this could not take place in the main chamber. It has been a major long standing campaign and should come before the whole house.

For the avoidance of any doubt I have made it explicitly clear I will vote against the government’s plans to cut benefits for disabled people. Just as I’ve done for years I will campaign with ⁦DPAC⁩ to prevent attacks on disabled people. labourlist.org/2025/03/spring…

What does "further and faster" change from Labour mean? The change Labour offers has centred on kicking disabled people and pensioners. And guess what, the voters hate that change. So probably not a good idea to double down on it!

They were not elected to remove the Winter Fuel Allowance, to attack the vunerable, to allow energy costs to spiral, to name just a few. If they had been honest about these things, then they would not have been elected. Lying your way to victory, is not a good look.
