Of course is disproportionately affected women - that was the whole point. Then to not provide direct notification made a poor situation immeasurably worse. Now 60s born men & women directly impacted too, with no notification. I found out in 2018!

Nope-found out (not notified) 2018, my state pension age was incd by 7 yrs. A dramatically poorer retirement awaits-despite not being allowed to stay at school past 16, so my working life will amount to at least 51 years-how is that a 3rd of my life?!

Yes-that’s true. Some women advised by DWP when challenged about their desperate financial situation, that their husbands should be supporting them - wheres the ‘equality’ there?

Comparisons for discrimination based on the impact of dates & gaps between those born at start of 1953 & those at end of it. Difference of 4 years. If want to show discrimination this one isn't hidden. It's obvious that 5 women in same school class span 4 years. michaelmansfield
