We've been outside Derbyshire CC today, protesting the council's decision to press ahead with the closure of 11 care homes, 8 adult day care centres, and 10 children's centres across the county.

@DerbyshireCC took an absolute age to build the cycle path on Chatsworth Road, months of misery. They hadn’t finished it a month ago, now it’s been dug up again.

Dysfunctional. They have to go.

Derbyshire UNISON and UNISON East Midlands out today in Derby raising awareness of the Derbyshire CC cuts.
Amazing how (despite the public consultation) people from Borrowash, Buxton and Chesterfield were unaware that 10 out of 22 Childrens Centres and 60% of Early Intervention is going!

Derbyshire County Council has received millions of pounds for an expansion of school spaces for children with special needs and the authority does not deny that much of it remains unspent
