Yesterday I was at County Hall to support the Derbyshire UNISON campaign to stop the cruel cuts. It's going to consultation but the choice for #ambervalley is whether one or two of our care homes should close. THIS IS NO CHOICE!

Today is Black Monday for Derbyshire.

At 2pm the Conservative Cabinet will be deciding whether to close 10 children’s centres, cut over 100 family support staff and consult on closing 8 older people’s day centres and 11 care homes

Spent my lunch hour in Chesterfield town centre talking to shoppers about DCC's Tory ruling group's cuts to children's centres and adult care provision.

Amazing how (despite the public consultation) people from Borrowash, Buxton and Chesterfield were unaware that 10 out of 22 Childrens Centres and 60% of Early Intervention is going!
