It was a privilege to be invited to a combined D2N2 event hosted by Mr Hassan Ahmed. From business, religious, political & community leaders, we had an opportunity to listen to their priorities, concerns & ambitions. It was an evening of sharing ideas & our plans for the region🌹

We've been listening to staff to ensure that we are exploring the best solutions to keep staff safe at work, & residents safe in the community. As a Labour & Co-op candidate for PCC in Derbyshire, it is important to me & to so many that we keep retail crime firmly on the agenda

This afternoon I attended an event to celebrate the Derby West Indian Community Association Book Launch, 'A Long Journey: The History of the Derby West Indian Community Association (DWICA).' #Heritage #Community 🌹Good to be at the event with Cllrs & Dame Margaret Beckett MP

My second session was in Kirk Hallam #Erewash 🌹 With a great team of Cllrs & activists who are working hard to support our communities & serve on the local council. We all want to see Derbyshire thrive & next week we have a chance to vote for a better, safer & more secure future

First stop was the street stall on King Street in Belper. So many residents stopped to share their support🌹

An amazing event by Catch22 this week. The TikTok UK Creative Academy x Baby People held a Creative #Derby Celebration at DEDA. I got to meet so many talented people & had an opportunity to unleash my own creativity in a song writing workshop that I joined #NextGeneration
