⚡️⚡️ It’s Climate Week. We’re launching a new series on San Francisco’s electric future, and how Pacific Gas & Electric, politics, and tech are shaping – or hindering – urgent changes needed for a greener, safer, more affordable city. Part 1 is all about Pacific Gas & Electric control of the city's grid /1

Just had a wonderful ride through here. Cars are so much slower and safer with infrastructure like this. Safe Street Rebel treatments are often better than SFMTA’s and they are volunteers?! The city should hire them! ♥️🏆

Thanks for a great first day! Today the city gave us the final document we need to circulate our petition. Come visit us in Golden Gate Park at the JFK Community Picnic this Sunday for a social, training, and signature gathering event!

Waited for a SFMTA bus for 30 minutes with my parents. Apps said it was coming in 5 mins. Then 9 mins. Never came. Gave up. Lyft came in 3 minutes. So…?

I saw version of this rather simple traffic calming measure throughout a residential area of Seattle a few months ago & if you are unable to avoid this at a 4 way stop on a at max 25 mph rd then you have no business driving. Wish these were at all 4 ways stops in Buffalo.

NEW SINGLE + VIDEO “The Last Black Lives Matter Sign in the Neighborhood” is out 4/12. Remember when Black Lives Matter signs were everywhere? Where did they all go? First they were replaced with Ukrainian flags. Now there are Free Palestine signs. What will take their place?

It is absolutely insane that making JFK Promenade (aka Car-Free JFK) car-free was a contentious political battle. The Supervisors who opposed it should lose their jobs on principle and the de Young Museum, which now has attendance numbers greater than 2019, should apologize.

Is this good street design? That’s A LOT of space. Maybe one car lane could be a protected two way bike lane? Gondola or monorail down the middle?

I've been pretty quiet about the family who was killed in West Portal by a reckless driver.

2.5 years ago, I was hit by a reckless driver while lawfully approaching a crosswalk. The driver had turned at high speed the wrong way onto a one-way street, just like in West Portal.

My fact check of Mark Farrell's Vision Zero Opinion piece in the The San Francisco Standard He's trying to rewrite history and hide his pro-car and anti-safe streets bias. Here are the facts:

For safe streets advocates:

Your rage is correct. The drivers are wrong. They will gaslight you and make excuses and fall back on their immoral demand for convenience as justification for this slaughter.

Ignore them all. Use your rage. It is telling you the truth.

Heads up SFMTA: 17th & Judah is a disaster. Same intersection where a car ran into an apartment building a couple weeks ago. You need permanent infrastructure deterring 19th Ave cut through traffic.

It is criminal that Arguello is not protected yet. I came the closest I’ve come yet to death this evening. 2nd closest? Also Arguello, last year. Take 8th.

Awesome car stuff. 😍 Watch to the end to see a pedestrian running through the “slow street” crosswalk to dodge a vehicle. 🏆 Page Slow Street

Nailed it Gov. Doug Burgum. ♥️🏆 How does the Governor of North Dakota (not exactly a dense urban environment) understand this when none of the so-called “leaders” in SF do?
