Jim Dickson🇺🇦 Lambeth Council Zarco closed down in Oval LTN, despite warnings by themselves & others that would threaten its existence. Both parades (opposite-facing) on Dorset Rd are now practically empty.

& there is still too much CPZ car storage, blocking shopfronts.

New high street cycling schemes tend to remove footway near shops, and not to add any bike racks. We need sheffields outside every shop, and no footway loss.

advocates continue to press for visitor parking to be removed from walking distance of high streets.

We are programming the loss of retail heritage, with local policies.

It will take new legislation to halt further loss, and to achieve this we need all supporters of the traditional high street and its walkable access legacy to challenge programmes of , as an idea.

Councils with widespread policies are effectively shrinking their economies, as well as not even holding metrics on the scale of this (perhaps to deny it).
