A gentle reminder that even the previous Conservative Minister for London thinks Susan Hall is unsuitable for the role of Mayor.
Vote Sadiq Khan tomorrow 🌹
If only the endless through-traffic avoiding the A3200 was back to ruin the street, then we’d have social justice once again. #TheSocialInjusticeOfLTNs
Blimey John Stewart this is a very sensible blog post most LTN advocates would agree with. You were on the right track - advocating for main roads whilst acknowledging the obvious need for LTNs. Sad to see how far you've fallen down the rabbit hole with the cranks since then
It's also important to highlight that the LTN review also found that residential unclassified streets were over SIX times safer for pedestrians than the same streets with through traffic. It's not a #WarOnCars but a 30 year #SecretWarOnPedestrians
Former Lib Dem mayoral candidate supports Sadiq Khan: Re-electing the Labour Mayor for the third term is the 'only way' to 'safeguard everything that makes London so special' ... he has 'a positive vision to build a fairer, greener and safer London for everyone'
Meg Hillier MP
I love the ease of getting around & taking my kids to activities all over Hackney, BUT cycling needs to be a whole lot safer, with connected routes & well funded so the default transport for most short journeys is to walk & cycle, not take the car.
