Whilst reptiles are removed from development sites, small mammals are frequently left to fend for themselves when the bulldozers arrive. No wonder they are declining (along with the stoats, owls etc that feed on them). Sussex Mammal Group Montgomeryshire WT Iolo Williams Sussex Wildlife Trust 🦔

So, if pheasants become classed as wildlife once released don’t they also qualify as a non-native species …surely that would be illegal?

Bring your garden to life with our Wildlife Collection, life size copies of garden birds. Fasten them to the Plastyhedge/Plastytree range, or add a small mammal such as squirrel or hedgehog - they double up as boot scrapers should you be unlucky enough to get mud in your garden.
