Apparently this has to be a secret in the UK...
But everyone this side of the water knows about it. Now Gibraltar chief minister just tweeted that he is having meeting with Cameron tomorrow in Brussels.

A mind-blowing discovery of a noncoding region in the human genome that might be holding the answer that 1000s of parents around the world with a child with a neurodevelopmental disorder (NDD) have been patiently waiting for years.

It’s absurd that the mean BMI at discharge for AN patients is 17 (according to Agnes Ayton 💙).

This is way below the weight at which the illness would have started.

Where does the magical thinking come from that someone could then think themselves better at this point?

Would you believe me if I told you that a single variant in a non-coding RNA explains ~0.5% of all undiagnosed individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) in Genomics England ???

I didn’t initially either, but here is the story of RNU4-2 🧵1/9

A perplexing thing about Cambridge is how it is a centre of excellence in psychological research, and a centre of absolutely dire clinical neglect in mental health services (for too many)
