Olympic Park Homes Action Group NonQualifyingLeaseholders Points made about ground 9 (link above) might be useful for buildings only considered “leaseholder-owned” due to a freeholder owning some leases. This specifically relates to a developer who is also a FH, but worth seeking advice if arguments here are applicable.

Liam Spender Gemma Lindfield MCIArb Leasehold Knowledge Matthew Pennycook MP Joe Powell MP NLC - KATIE KENDRICK OBE - LEASEHOLD CAMPAIGNER End Our Cladding Scandal Free Leaseholders We have a third non qualifying at our site. Our RFA freeholder is weighing up whether they should pierce the corporate veil of our orphan building. If it's cheaper for them to charge the NQs rather than chase the developer, then the NQs will be on the hook. It's disgraceful.

Labour Housing Group This Govt has made no material changes to the previous govt's policy choices on the building safety crisis. They continue to make some leaseholders pay to fix defects they didn't cause and 'enforcement' leads to people being decanted and made homeless. 2/n

Moving Home with Charlie My son worked on new builds ( he’s a plumber) and he said it’s common knowledge on site that they are built to last about 25yrs. I’ve got two plumbers, two electricians and two decorators in my immediate family and not one would buy a new build

“Refusal to protect #nonqualifyingLH & walking back on promises-NQ equally blameless..Gov decides some LH’s are more innocent v others Make industry pay..non-cladding must be funded..Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Gov ‼️If Keir Starmer believes justice, safety & fairness-wants to deliver CHANGE show us”

Keir Starmer Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Gov Release the million’s homes trapped in #BuildingSafetyCrisis BSA too complex- deeming #nonqualifyingLH less innocent than others & stalling sales market . Strong words from Angela Rayner in opposition, Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Gov has disagreed with the PAC .. to make product manufacturers pay

Six years after watching fire rip through our defective building, residents that returned to Richmond House have had multiple (false?) fire alarms going off in the night and evacuations by the LFB. When will residents finally know their homes are safe? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

katy cox🌍 katy cox🌍 Are you the leaseholder? Developers who signed the govt remediation contract should theoretically pay for internal works, but otherwise (sadly) govt left L/Holders liable for costs of internal fire safety works (up to a capped cost for Qualifying LH; uncapped for Non-Q) 1/

Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Gov Deal with the building safety crisis first. So many existing homes that cannot be sold due to your department’s policies on excluding people who have bought in good faith from funding. 1.5 million homes with corners cut by developers not going to help anyone.
