The next Labour government with Keir Starmer as Prime Minister will reform our planning system and release grey belt land for development.

So we can build affordable homes, boost public services and improve green spaces.

My Labour government will build on brownfield land first and make sure green spaces are protected.

But it’s not right that places like disused car parks are designated as green belt while so many people need the security of their own home.

I was really glad to write a piece for The Fabian Society on putting students in the narrative and unlocking student housing.

Just heard from another social tenant being required to pay an eye-watering service charge - £59 a week. This includes 'communal repairs', 'entry phone maintenance' + 'sewers & drains' too! We have made a formal complaint but there must be a way of challenging it for all tenants?

A very interesting hour with Dr Tom Archer and his big brain.
