Was reading Romans 3:23-24 & had a thought: Comparison is a Killer, even in your faith walk. Grace is a gift & Mercy is a masterpiece; there’s nothing we can do to get it besides believing. Being “the best” or not being “the worst” won’t save you; just focus on faith.

When patients share a story they’ve told me before, I don’t stop them and say that I’ve already heard that one. Instead I assume that I didn’t hear what they needed me to the last time, and try to listen more deeply and with new ears. Try this with parents / friends / kids ✨

It’s all about power. Power controls the conversation, the narrative, the perception. Power is used to serve interests. The White Man & The White Woman are DISINTERESTED in protecting the autonomy and agency and HEALTH of Black women. They’ve exercised their power, accordingly.
