This week was an enjoyable and informative visit to Bristol and Bath with the Historic England Commission and Executive Team. It was inspiring to see how the historic character of the cities can support sustainable growth and how local partners are committed to working together.
It is central to Historic England's mission that we pass on to future generations the rich legacy of historic buildings and places that we have inherited. With the help of local communities and partners, we can bring historic places back to life. bit.ly/HAR-22

Two important events today Launch of Heritage Harbours: the first 10 Heritage Harbours and Heritage Inland Ports have been announced by Maritime Heritage UK; Historic England & @nathistships. And thereās a new website for MHT with all harbours listed maritimeheritage.org.uk
