This week was an enjoyable and informative visit to Bristol and Bath with the Historic England Commission and Executive Team. It was inspiring to see how the historic character of the cities can support sustainable growth and how local partners are committed to working together.

Extremely sad to hear about the passing of Pritzker winning (and one of my Indian architects) B V Doshi. Great loss, but his legacy and teachings will continue to inspire several generations to design and build ethically and sustainably. RIP

What an wonderful and moving gesture from East Midlands Railway (EMR), paying thanks to Elain Harwood as friends and family make their way to her hometown of Nottingham today.
