Ilkley Pool and Lido (1935)
Built in 1935 this is one of Yorkshire’s last open air swimming pools. The Grade II listed pool and lido also has a lovely Art Deco café.

Brockwell Lido, Herne Hill, London (1937)
Brockwell Lido is a grade II listed 50m open air lido in Brockwell Park, Herne Hill, London. It opened in July 1937, closed in 1990 and after a local campaign was re-opened in 1994.

Saltdean Lido (1938)
A stunning grade II listed lido and pavilion near Brighton, that has recently been completely restored thanks to the efforts of a community led group.

An invitation to some adventures this year — the All The Lidos Summer Challenge is now open! The aim is to swim in as many human-made, publically accessible spots as you can over British Summer Time — with beautiful sew-on patches as a reward.
