My comment on why Tory Mayor Andy Street has an appalling record on policing - propping up a government that has ripped apart policing and justice in the West Midlands. Just like his failure on HS2, no levelling up to be seen here. The public will see right through this.

Andy Street backed Liz Truss’ £70bn blackhole budget. He has an abysmal record of managing his own functions (broken tramline tracks/HS2 failure/transport delays). AND he has never called out the fact that West Midlands Police has the 5th worst funding settlement in the UK.
