No, 'real disabled people' aren't offended at 'fakers' claiming PIP because it virtually never happens. DWP themselves say it's at 0.0 % . That's because so many people that NEED it are denied it. Let's try being angry at the real problems in society not disabled people.

Just a reminder that disabled people are not a scorn on the taxes that “hard working people” pay. We deserve better and we deserve to live as comfortably as possible with adequate resources and support.

Yesterday, we launched a consultation on bringing the bus network under greater public control. I pledged to make buses work for our residents and now it's time for you to have your say: tfwm.org.uk/busreform Together, we can build a network that works for the West Midlands.

It took me three years from first claiming PIP to actually being given the benefits to which I'm entitled. I'm now on the highest rate in both the mobility and daily living components. Anyone who says PIP is easy to claim is lying to you . It really isn't.

The right wing think tank, Policy Exchange, has released a big report today recommending young people on PIP “be required to look for work, to volunteer or be engaged in training.” Only one problem: PIP is not an out of work benefit. policyexchange.org.uk/publication/fo…

Martyn's Law has become an Act of Parliament and official legislation since 11.10 am today. After 6 years and 3 months it is so great to finally get there!

Really weird thing that's emerging from all the disability benefits hatred in the media is people actually thinking a GP will diagnose you with a complex medical condition? Like you just pop in to a gp and tell them you've got arthritis or adhd and they go "okay cool diagnosed!"

Yesterday Charlie Kirk was shot in the US. A few hours later some madman set fire to the constituency office of Labour MP Sharon Hodgson. I hope everyone, no matter what their politics, will find that absolutely contemptible too. Sending her and her team a big hug.

Kemi Badenoch, "I want to stop people with ADHD getting Motability cars." Well you don't need to, because nobody gets a Motability Car for ADHD. You need mobility issues, which some people with ADHD also have.
