We have today written to UK Prime Minister regarding Boris Johnson response to the news of the events of 20 May 2020. A full copy of our letter is below.
Please RT if you would like me to consider standing against Jacob Rees-Mogg again, as an independent for one term only. As before, I would step aside if a better unity candidate emerges, or if The Labour Party & Liberal Democrats decide to fight each other & I would only further split the vote.
Thanks to all who have written to me following Parl today. Due to the volume of correspondence I can't reply to everyone but all the views you have shared are valued. Truth and decency must always remain at heart of our politics. They are values that we must never give up on.
A source at the Metropolitan Police says the reason why junior Downing Street staff got fined, while senior figures didn't is that the senior people failed to answer the questionnaire. So non-cooperation gets you off. I'll remember that next time I'm arrested for protesting.
Wow. Boris Johnson finally confirmed something he has previously ducked repeatedly. Asked by Meg Hillier whether he met ex-KGB spy Alexander Lebedev without officials when he was Foreign Secretary he replies: "I probably did."
This really, really matters. Holly Lynch has been asking this question repeated and had no answer via oral or written Parliamentary questions. The Observer reported Johnson ditched his security detail to meet Lebedev while he was on holiday. theguardian.com/media/2019/nov…
‘It seems bizarre that it is suddenly necessary for reasonable people… to make sure they vote in the National Trust’s 5 November AGM to prevent fun days out in historic locations becoming weaponised as yet another front in the far right's culture war’ Stuart Lee in The Observer
