Grassroots venues are cultural & community hubs that provide a pipeline of talent that give employment,give opportunities to artists that helps generate huge amounts of money for the UK by those that go onto bigger things. Without the pipeline there won’t be much to put on

The Music Venue Trust says two grassroots music venues closed every week last year largely driven by spiralling costs.

I asked Ministers what are they doing to support much loved venues such as our very own Grayston Unity so we don’t lose access to live music and skills training.
