When you become irreversibly unwell due to repeated COVID infections they will say…

“Well we did tell you to take personal responsibility for your health.”

“We did write guidance to ventilate and wear masks*.”

“You were told about long COVID.”

Unfriendly reminder that 59% of COVID's spread happens asymptomatically (either because someone is infected and presymptomatic or because someone just never shows any symptoms at all) 😷 x.com/_CatintheHat/s…

My and colleagues, please see for an egregious example of how poorly people with myalgic encephalomyelitis are treated in our medical system. People who are suffering so greatly deserve our commitment to basic care and dignity.

It’s been a minute but tonight’s phantom odour is a fresh & sweet red wine vinaigrette. Nothing fancy but perfect for a spring salad.

New study out from the amazing Michael Peluso, MD et al!

They looked at both:

a) whether viral antigen persists after COVID infection (it does, in 25% of people!!)

b) which tests were more likely to pick this up

The Palestinians I love move like angels of mercy & wisdom through this morally impoverished dunya, full of cruelly oblivious people who consider themselves good.

Take a beat!
It's ok to hear 'Palestine' and be, for just a moment, inconsolably quiet. You can join us there.

One of my cousins has better covid protection in his woodshop compared to many medical offices I've visited.

How is that possible?

If I want to avoid nosocomial infection I can count on woodworkers more than medical professionals.

Why is that?
