1300 customers unhappy with your CF. 500 emails sent to you from providers who sign up to CF under duress. This is a large portion out of 4800 why are being ignored. WHY ? 4 ECCE services told parents in the last 24 hours that they are closing permanently. No change to capitation for the children has forced providers out of our sector. Many more will follow and yes our minister is aware of this but his data is telling him differently NewstalkFM

ECCE services do not want to be sustainable they want to be viable businesses. Your Core Funding is taking away parental choice and closing services in rural and urban Ireland. You have not listened to the FECP. There is no future for these services now shameful Roderic O’Gorman TD

According to the CSO, if standard capitation had been kept in line with inflation since ECCE commenced in 2010, it would be €76.16 today. We are asking for €76, yet government portrays us as greedy and sees no reason for protests. It's beyond ignorant.

Can someone please ask the Min. for Equality why he has discriminated against graduate-lead ECCE preschool sessions, in his recent rollout of funding? Don't they deserve to be kept in line with inflation like everyone else? Why are they suddenly less important? Houses of the Oireachtas - Tithe an Oireachtais
