We first met Oliver in 2005 and had the privilege of being in his company during the Summer of 2010 when we were supporting Concorde at Filton with our SOS: Save Our Speedbird campaign. His contribution to Concorde’s heritage is beyond measure. RIP

I’m thrilled to be having my inaugural book launch at the Speedbird Centre in British Airways Head Office at Waterside, Heathrow Airport today! It feels so special to be here given how much of my 15 million miles to date were with BA and particularly my 718 flights on #Concorde.

We are sad to learn that Michel Rétif passed away yesterday aged 101. He was the last surviving flight crew member of #Concorde's maiden flight in 1969. He is third from the left in the photograph below. Our thoughts and sympathies go out to his family and former colleagues.
