We are ON STRIKE this morning as we say NO to Reach taking advantage of hardworking journalists. We demand fair pay NOW.

NUJ and BECTU reps met Al Jazeera management at ACAS the conciliation service today. There was no agreement on pay, and the unions will formally notify Al Jazeera of a ballot on industrial action in the coming week.
