It's a cruel fact that Brexit caused the huge increase in boat migrants & it's Brexity types that think they shouldn't be housed anywhere. They're here, what are you going to do with them? They can't be sent back because of Brexit.

There has been such a lack of knowledge or interest in prisons from people who are otherwise engaged & empathetic activists before now, that they're individualising mistreatment that happens to ALL prisoners. The whole system needs overhaul.

I hope this newfound interest is sustained and extended to the thousands of working class men and women who are locked up for up to 23 hours a day.
