Rugunga IDP camp, Busia County, has been severely affected by the floods. UNICEF Kenya in collaboration with County Government of Busia 040, Kenya Red Cross & CARE Kenya distributed sanitary pads & dignity kits for girls & women, and family relief kits for the elderly & persons with disabilities.

Families affected by the ongoing floods redeem their e-vouchers.   Thanks to support from Norad, UNICEF Kenya working with World Vision Kenya NDMA Kenya Garissa County Gvt. has provided cash transfers to over 600 households. Families displaced by the floods are being hosted in IDP camps.

Today, at an IDP camp at Masinde Muliro Grounds, UK in Kenya 🇬🇧🇰🇪 Ministry of Health & UNICEF met displaced families affected by the floods. We’re providing safe water, health promotion services, cash transfers, family tracing & sanitation facilities, and other services for those in the camp.
