This week, Kisumu County, ncpwds, Social Protection and Senior Citizen affairs, UNICEF Kenya, and partners are conducting three mapping exercises for children with disabilities across the county. The programme aims to assist children with disabilities in accessing essential services during crises. 1/2
This week UNICEF Kenya, Innovasjon Norge & private sector partners are in Kisumu County distributing assistive devices to children with disabilities as part of Humanitarian Innovation Programme which identifies & provides support for children & caregivers in humanitarian crises
Today, Kisumu County launched the County Statistical Abstract 2024. The abstract will enhance evidence based planning, budgeting & programming, focusing on critical areas such as education, health and social protection affecting children and young people within the county. 1/2
Yesterday, under the leadership of PS Carren Agengo, the UN Joint Programme Steering Committee for Child and Social Protection held a meeting to review the progress of implementation of the programme, discuss challenges, and explore future opportunities. 1/2
