And with that I have graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a PhD in Chemistry ! While I never anticipated a move in middle of my PhD, but life happened! I am so thankful for such an enriching experience at MIT Chemistry and It’s been quite a journey!!
5th floor postdocs Mike Wuo, Adele Gabba, Amanda Peiffer, Rajeev, @carolinaortizco, Robert Lyle McPherson, & research scientist Amanda Dugan complete the #KiesslingGroupRollCall! Our talented chemical biologists study stem cells, lectins, & immunology. Read the Amandas paper online now!
After building embryoids for 10 years, we succeeded in generating structures with brains, hearts, neural tubes, somites with a yolk sac. Both original submissions using two different approaches are on BioRxiv, to be published soon. eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%…
Thrilled to see click chemistry recognized for its huge impact on chemical biology. From the whole group, a big congratulations to our friends in the Carolyn Bertozzi group as well as Barry Sharpless and Morten Meldal's groups. Well deserved! #ChemNobel #glycotime
Using expansion microscopy 🔬, Dr. Laura Kiessling and team at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) found striking changes in heparan sulfate nanostructure occur as hPS cells differentiate, and these changes correlate with growth factor signaling. Learn more: 📑 bit.ly/40cfP8J
So good to see 'glycans in stem cells' are getting attention from the peers! Thanks Science in Boston for featuring our work!
