Hilarious how slanted this PeoplePolling question on the 'Switzerland-style relationship' is:

- 'payments into EU budget'
- 'adopting single market regulations'
- 'accepting free movement'
- and no mention of economic benefits at all

And yet public *still* supports it (net +4).

Oof. These are terrible numbers for Conservatives. After Rwanda, 'invasion', tough talk, etc etc ...

'From what you have seen or heard, does gvt have a workable plan to reduce the number of migrants crossing the Channel in small boats?'

Does 5%
Does not 75%

Visegrád 24 TB It’s from YouGov.

🤏 of🧂

Their methodology is based on online volunteers matching demographics. So, they’re only going to get respondents who are tech savvy w/ extra free time.

Their approach may be most appropriate for tracking changes over time.

Delighted to be selected as Labour's candidate for Milton Keynes North.

I would like to thank you all for the support during this campaign.

I will continue to fight to turn Milton Keynes red, and for the Labour government this country urgently needs.

Brexit has made Britain the sick man of Europe again. A YouGov poll tells us that 56% of people think we were wrong to leave the EU and only 32% that we were right. 88% of those who voted Labour in 2019 think leave was the wrong decision. theguardian.com/business/2022/…

Was I'm A Celeb all worth it for Matt Hancock?

On the plus side for him YouGov says 14% of people now think of him more positively than they did before and only 7% think of him more negatively, on the other hand 40% felt negatively about him and still do.

Tough crowd.

YouGov finds a Switzerland deal would get the public's support by a 30 point margin (54%-24%)!

Funny what happens when you frame a question in a way that balances benefits (reduced trade barriers) with what may be seen as drawbacks (I.e. freedom of movement, following EU laws).

Politics UK 🇬🇧 YouGov Didn't YouGov lose all credibility during lockdowns?
Regardless, most people are not sufficiently knowledgable on forms of energy generation. If most want Green energy, then that means that most want NO energy.
