As a psychologist I could not agree more with Kate Raworth. 'Putting endless growth above our wellbeing and the environment is no longer viable.' We can aspire to carry on developing as individuals & as a species, but to (try to) keep on growing is fatal.
We have economies that need to grow, whether or not they make us thrive. Now we need economies that enable us to thrive, whether or not they grow. Here's what I just wrote about it in The Guardian 1/2
