Feedback, certificate and course photo from the Selection Interciew Technique Course. Great week and with great people. I’m getting the hang of this blues thing again 😂 RAFCareers @2WWAirCadets @catllewellyn Sqn Ldr Jez Kent RAFAC
Finally logging on after a long drive from Llandrindod Wells after Llandrindod Wells RAF Air Cadets hosted a brilliant Squadron awards night. Brilliant to see some old faces particularly retired Sqn Ldr Hogben who was a role model to me as a child. His paternal leadership is something I aim to match.
Congratulations to our very own Flt Lt Anne Morris on completing her SAAI course 🎉 All the hard work over the last two weekend and in between has paid off. I look forward to seeing you delivering Rifle Lessons within the Wing @2WWAirCadets Sqn Ldr Damien Kelly RAFAC
Was definitely in a zone this weekend, maybe all of them, on Module 2 of the Sports leaders network LEL Course with Merseyside Wing WATTO I could get used to this no uniform, being outside thing you do 😉
I’ve been spending a bit of time re-reading College of Policing leadership review realising West Mercia Police have been moving in the right direction since I last read it in 2016. Recommendations 1,3 & 4 have seen the biggest change I think 💭 What do you think makes a good leader?
So tonight I visited 2364 Welshpool Sqn Welshpool RAF Air Cadets for my 6 weekly visit. It’s great to see a fab staff team and bunch of cadets working well together, even if I did feel sick after having a go of their ongoing flight simulator project.🤢#sickbagsattheready @Plt_Off_Cornell
Tonight I hosted the Provost Marshal (RAF)/Cdr ASF for some #CPD on custody procedures in West Mercia Police. 7 prisoners booked in and sharing of common practices. Cpl Sheppard even managed to meet the boss man himself @CSuptHarding. #partnershipworking #Partnersincrime #futurerelations
Juuuust because I’m a custody officer doesn’t mean I can’t go on patrol. Hunting for drink drivers tonight after a shift in the cells. #LetsKeepOurRoadsSafe #Fatal4 #drinkdrivecampaign #JustDontRiskIt West Mercia Police
Please don’t spoil your Christmas Day tomorrow by being presented to me on this wonderful Christmas Eve tonight #MerryChristmas West Mercia Police
Well, I never thought I’d be back to my old stomping ground RAF Cosford. In fact it was 16 years ago today since I joined the RAF as a survival equipment fitter at the grand age of 16 years old boy #throwback
What’s your plans for 2020 then? Why not have a look on the RAFAC Shooting Portal and sign up for a course with a Small Arms Training Team! Start your year off with some personal development, you know you want to! 😉 RAF Air Cadets Commandant RAF Air Cadets HQAC TDT HQAC SDT Philip @ Hqac media projects
Well that was a complicated course but pleased to say that I am now an Authorised Representative (AR) for planning, supervising and transporting movements of Dangerous Goods which will allow me to deliver DG training to my range staff. Thanks to the instructors RAF Cosford
Guilty!!! But not of attempted murder?? Words fail me! PC Outten you are a true hero, your dignity and strength have shone through. From all at #PoliceFamily well done and Thankyou for being there 💙 #NotAllHeroesWearCapes 🚔 Metropolitan Police
This RAF Air Cadets is an excellent example of how everyone may experience mental health difficulties, irrespective of background, gender, rank and position. If you’re not ok, do reach out for help and support.
