Last Night NCO’s of 579 lead problem solving tasks, where teamwork and communication was really important. This helped the cadets build confidence in communicating with each other and taking charge of small exercises. #WhatWeDo

A busy night last night at 579 Squadron. The younger group of cadets, who are doing their First Cladd Training, went on a walk, using compasses and maps to navigate. The leading cadet group was on the range, working towards CLF 1&2, and then the NCO’s were planning a flight (1/2)

2 of our Cadet Sergeants were teaching a flight from 579 the basics of fieldcraft, which they learnt from the 2018 Fieldcraft Camp, the cadets learnt the hand signals along with Camouflage and Concealment. As well of this, 4 cadets were on the range, with one passing CLF 2!

A great day for 579 at Athletics in Wrexham, not only did we walk away with 6 silver and 6 gold medals, but came 5th overall! A massive achievement! Well done to all cadets who attended and got the Squadron those needed points! Brilliant! #WhatWeDo
