The past few days have been taken up taking victim personal statements for a sentencing hearing for a very tragic case.
Then releasing tribute statements for families who very recently lost loved their loved ones in another awful collision. #FLO #TheUnseenSideOfPolicing 💙🚔

Thinking of WPC Yvonne Fletcher, murdered on duty on this day, 40 years ago.
Thoughts with her friends, family and colleagues.

Flowers from a lovely young man who never had the confidence to apply to the police, he’s always wanted to join. He’s every quality you’d want in a police officer…. I managed to convince him to apply….. he starts with Bedfordshire Police next month! 💙🚔

Amazing memorial rugby match in memory of Luke, whose life was taken in a senseless knife attack. His parents, my friends are remarkable and stood stronger than I ever could. Many thousands raised for Victim Support who have been incredible supporting Luke’s family 💙
