It closed up, as predicted, because the entire world stopped using CFCs in sprays and refrigerators etc by 1995. The scientists that worked on it were awarded the Nobel prize in Chemistry. I hope this helps, Malcolm.

In 2020 Surrey County Council Customer Services did a Travel Survey with 623 staff responses related to the same site proposed for Reigate Priory School.. “Most Frequently Mentioned Concerns” and “Suggestions” by staff sound familiar 👎..Survey for the children folks? 🙃@hpp_sos SURREY LIVE NEWS BBC Surrey

The only argument is, electric cars are more efficient, more sustainable and less damaging over their lifetime than any combustion car ever was or can be. Electric vehicles are simply a better technology, not perfect, but a massive step up from old combustion technology.

Council: We're declaring a climate emergency Also the Council: here is a planning application for a primary school refurbishment that means doubling the amount of car parking space, chopping down two trees, and failing to mention anything about access from the adjacent cycle path

This map is a brilliant visualisation of the incredible shift we discuss in @newsagentspod podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/is-… with Gabriel Gatehouse

Clips from yesterday's Reigate Council meeting about the Priory school move: It was packed, and several councillors seemed to shift their position by the end of the meeting: First up, Councillor Walsh. "It smacks of top-down Bureaucracy.. Our residents are going to suffer"

It’s another own goal, another attempt to look like they’re reducing no regulation when they’re creating it. British businesses will have to abide by GDPR anyway if they’re going to trade with the EU. They’ll now need to do double the work. Red tape courtesy of hard Brexit.

I feel much safer now that Crispin Blunt, Andrew Bridgen and Jamie Wallis have called for me to resign - nobody will want to be associated with those arseholes.

OK. 5 prime ministers in 6 years. Serial chaos, serial lies & economic collapse. Enough is enough. RT if you want a general election NOW.

Not much of a silver lining, given the size of the cloud, but at least we now know that any producer or presenter using guests from Institute of Economic Affairs is either deliberately promoting their ridiculous, utterly discredited agenda or treating their audience with complete contempt. Or both.

Blimey is this real? It’s shocking, I can’t believe how little our Gov cares for the environmental or indeed human health.

Nah I'm sorry. The line has been crossed. If the Tories are now explicitly lowering the bar for their main voter demographic.... NO FUTURE UK ELECTION CAN BE CONSIDERED LEGITIMATE!

The conclusion was pretty clear. Putting a school on the existing Year 6 block would be a *great* solution. So why have the council not considered this? More than that why have they repeatedly hidden behind claims of a DfE report that says the Priory Park site is unusable?

The meeting to decide what happens to Reigate Priory School is at 10:30am tomorrow (Wednesday) at Surrey Council's offices at Woodhatch Place. You don't need an invitation to go. Be there, or be an ugly metal box. surreycc.public-i.tv/core/portal/we… x.com/ReigateRabbit/…

Stop The Move (@stopthemove_rp) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Please do attend if you can! No invitation necessary as our furry friend states. This decision is not just detrimental to the parents of Reigate, it will cause problems for the whole town. 10.30am tomorrow (22nd Feb) at SCC’s office at Woodhatch Place.

@hpp_sos A BBC Surrey journalist will be reporting live from Reigate (at the school I believe) into the breakfast show at 710 and 810 asking parents their views. Listen in or feel free to approach him with your views.
