Many of the photos I’m sharing today don’t seem to interest many of my followers, but they’re some of my favourites because they portray our beautiful culture and its importance in shaping our unique province. The splitting table, buckets and a gull on a wharf. Classic NL.

A light dusting of snow on the Battery, St. John's, January 12th. I never get tired of seeing those beautiful colored houses contrasted against the rugged shore. #nlwx #ShareYourWeather #newfoundlandandlabrador #yyt

The island portion of Newfoundland and Labrador has no wolves but we do have coywolves. They are a large cross between our coyotes and the odd wolf that strayed down from Labrador on the sea ice in the winter.

The morning was bitterly cold, marking the first day out after a state of emergency caused by a massive snowstorm was lifted. After a week of being stuck at home and endless shoveling, it felt refreshing to be outside! Heart's Content Lighthouse Newfoundland.

A winter scene during blue hour at The Battery St. John's Newfoundland. A great place to take a walk on a crisp night with no wind. Would you agree?

The historic Keough building was once part of the Keough Premises, a thriving mercantile firm operating on Bonavista's harbourfront from 1840 to 1910 - now it has new life as a microbrewery saltwire.com/newfoundland-l…
