I aint buying a single croissant in 2023

I remember my Mum coming home at 5, making dinner then sitting marking books and planning from 6-9:30 every single night. Sunday afternoons were for more planning, school holidays were also spent planning. Teachers work long hours out of school. I fully support #TeacherStrike

The pressure of inspection makes teachers want to quit. The meetings, mock deep dives, curriculum conversations, data requests etc all intensifying leading up to ‘the visit’. Messaging - ‘we need to get XYZ grade or we are doomed’ etc. Abolish grades, shrink OFSTED, save 💰.
