Thanks to the excellent Gwent Police Rural Crime team and NRW rangers for allowing me to join them last night on Operation Fallow. The purpose was to patrol areas frequented by poachers committing several offences in their attempts to kill deer, hares and boar at night.

#CHARGED 🚨Following a warrant in Newport city centre on Thursday 2 November, two men - aged 24 and 32 from Newport - have been charged with production of class B drugs – cannabis. ❗ Both have been remanded into custody.

👮‍♀️Officers carried out warrants at three addresses in the early hours of this morning following an extensive investigation into the conspiracy to supply class A drugs in Gwent. 👮‍♂️ ❗Two men – aged 32 and 56 - were arrested at the properties and remain in police custody.

Update | Four men arrested following warrants in Newport on Tuesday morning have since been charged. A 32-year-old man from Newport has been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A – heroin and cocaine, and conspiracy to supply class A (cocaine).
