CrossCountry Trains Why does your website say that there aren’t currently working lifts at Morpeth when they’re working fine? People will be cancelling plans, taking longer routes and worrying unnecessarily until it’s updated.

Why is delay repay on trains so complicated to do. One train company I have had at least two ways to reclaim. And now I’m locked out of the system

A while back I asked the TOC I use most what their procedure is if a train with a wheelchair user on unexpectedly terminates at an inaccessible station. Apparently the wheelchair user has to wait on the platform until services resume. Based on recent incidents this could be hours

One good story of rail travel and then this ….

Wow.

Big interchange. Member of staff then followed the passenger, spotted them heading towards another rail network and radioed ahead to tell those staff that “a wheelchair” who wasn’t using assistance was heading in their direction. Repeating “yes *it’s* a wheelchair”

My husband Alex Freedom One Life arrived Frankfurt Airport to find his powerchair like this. Thankfully he deliberately designed the chair to be robust for air travel & the chair is fine but no one should be greeted by this scene. #rightsOnFlights #DisabilityTwitter
