Today, the board of directors elected Dr. Olivier Mukulira as the Executive Vice Chairperson of the Africa Co-operative Consortium for the period 2024/2028. Dr. Olivier is the Managing Director of Rwanda Institute of Cooperative, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance.

Our first Cooperative Learning Tour began on Tuesday this week with Rwanda Institute Cooperative Entrepreneurship and Microfinance-RICEM Board Members and Managing Director visiting The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) and the Cooperative Alliance of Kenya Timothy Bisakaya International Cooperative Research Group Silas Maiyo, CSK

On the second day the RICEM team visited the SHIRIKA SACCO LTD , the Kenya’s oldest deposit taking SACCO. The team was received by the Senior Management team lead by CEO, Madam Grace Nyangj and and the Education Committee led by the Chairperson, Fondo Nzovu

The RICEM team extended their cooperative learning tour to Game Developers Conference and Githunguri Dairy .
